At Skoop we pride ourselves on creating community-first, solution-led skincare that does more than what we say on the packet. All our plant-powered formulas are aluminium and talc free with zero of the nasties sometimes found in our over-the-counter competitors. Absolutely! However, if you have any concerns we recommend that you consult your medical practitioner.

Yes — however we do recommend performing a patch test first. Pop a small amount on the inside of your wrist (one of the most sensitive patches of skin!) and see if any redness or itching develops over 5 to 10 minutes. If not, you're good to go! If you find any irritation, take a look at our ingredients list and chat to your doctor.

Skoop is proudly plant-powered, derived from natural ingredients and meticulously created to be gentle on all skin types.

Absolutely it is. All Skoop products are 100% vegan, cruelty free and non-toxic. We also steer clear of nasties such as aluminium, talc and synthetic fragrances.

Skoop has been created for on the go — from the beach to the boardroom. That said, we recommend keeping your Skoop products in a cool, dry place, as excessive heat may cause the product to destabilise.

All of Skoop's plant-powered ingredients have been hand picked for their efficacy, safety and sustainability. Due to the nature of our products we recommend replacing the product after 12 months of opening.

We've been testing Skoop products for over 12 months and can confidently say that with correct application there is minimal residue. If Hand Hero is applied too liberally a white powder residue may form — that's the dry-touch nature of the product, and it washes easily from all fabrics (follow specific fabric directions).

This depends on personal preference and how much you sweat on any given day. After months of testing: Skin Shield keeps you sans friction for several hours, while Hand Hero should be reapplied every 3–4 hours or when necessary.

We could talk all day about talc. The short version:

Risk of contamination — some talc deposits have been found contaminated with asbestos, a known carcinogen. Respiratory issues — fine talc particles are easy to inhale and have been linked to respiratory problems. Skin irritation — talc can dry and irritate sensitive skin. Clogged pores — talc-based products can contribute to breakouts. Hard pass from us.

The jury is still out on whether aluminium is safe on skin — and that was enough for us to leave it out. The concerns under debate: breast cancer links (studies are inconclusive but ongoing), absorption through skin with unknown long-term effects, possible neurological connections still being researched, and plain old skin irritation for sensitive types. We'd rather not play with maybes.

Our sleek aluminium tins (yes, we're Australian, we say "aluminium") are 100% recyclable — endlessly, without losing quality. Upcycle them into jewellery holders and herb pots, or give them a rinse and send them to the recycling bin. They might circle back to you sooner than you think!

We ship worldwide! Shipping within Australia is free on orders $50 or over; otherwise it's a flat $9.95 standard or $15 express. International post is calculated at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

Due to the nature of our product we don't provide returns for change of mind — but if your item arrives damaged, email hotline@skoopskincare.com with your order number and photos within 7 days of receipt. Full policy on our Shipping & Returns page.

Orders typically arrive within 3–5 business days depending on where you're based. You'll get a tracking number via email to follow its progress. Skoop doesn't accept liability for postage delays with Australia Post or international couriers.
